2013 Chevrolet Spark review

<p><strong>2013 Chevrolet Spark mini-car</strong>, introduced in 2011 Los Angeles Auto Show International, is the only car in its segment to offer a seven-inch color touch screen capable of displaying radio-based navigation smartphone, the media and contacts for hands-free calling.</p>  <p>A sporty four-passenger, five-door hatch is updated to the United States and Canadian consumers, Chevrolet Spark is designed to stimulate first-time buyers and residents of the city with style and bold colors, affordability, security 10 standard air bags, fuel efficiency and maneuverability.</p>  <p>Although compact, the Chevrolet Spark offers more passenger and cargo space than other cars like the Mini, Fiat 500 and the Scion iQ Smart fortwo. Equipped with a 1.2 L four-cylinder engine and five-speed manual transmission, Chevrolet Spark will offer fuel economy competitive.</p>  <p>   <br />2013 Chevrolet Spark side angle view</p>  <p>   <br />2013 Chevrolet Spark back view</p>  <p>Exclusive Chevrolet MyLink infotainment system, which displays the personal connectivity of Pandora and Stitcher internet radio, will be offered on 1LT and 2LT models as Chevrolet Spark will be sold in the United States and Canada in mid-2012.</p>  <p>In addition to MyLink, Chevrolet Spark is the only car in the segment to provide added value five-year warranty, 100,000 mile powertrain and safety and security of OnStar.</p>  <p>The original version of the Spark has been sold in Europe, Asia, Australia, Mexico and South America, where he has received several awards style and safety.</p>  <p>Designed for those who live large and loud. You may have never heard of a Chevrolet Parkwood and Brookwood... that is because no one seems to have a thing for station wagons, I was surprised to see them at Goodguys!

<div dir="ltr" style="text-align: left;" trbidi="on">Founded by Billy Durant, it was one of three car companies he founded that year (he had founded GM years before, but got fired) He founded 2 more companies the next year<br /><br />Durant did so well with Chevy, that by 1915, he took over control of GM... yeah, Chevy bought out GM.<br /><br />The depression in 1920 jsut decimated his businesses., and he left in Dec, 1920<br /><br />When Chevrolet started in business, there were 270 car companies in America<br /><br />How American is Chevrolet? Well, Louis Chevrolet was Swiss, Zora Arkus Duntov was Belgian... you get the point right? Immigrants are Americas greatest asset, and they made Chevy and GM one of the few comapnies to survive 100 years, and one of only a handful of car manufacturers to stay in the car making business for 100 years or more. <br /><br />Durant wanted to capitalize on Louis Chevrolet's racing notoriety, and had Lou design a car. It was completed in 1912. Lou quit because Durant nagged about his smoking, and went on to design Indy winning race cars, and found the Frontenac car company<br /><br />1915 was the year Chevy tried to compete with the less expensive Ford, and made the 490 which was the same price as the Ford (Fiat 500 was the cost in thousands of Lira for a cinquecento) Ford retaliated by dropping his price by 50 bucks. Lots of money in 1915<br /><br />1923 Chevy had 500 copper air fin equipped cars available, as this early in the car making development process, getting water cooling to work wasn't perfected for another 30 years, and the Franklin was successful as an aircooled engine... they work fine in hot climates, like the American mid and southwest.<br />The Copper Cooled Chevys were a flop, they detonated terrribly, and of the 100 bought by customers, all but 2 were reaquired by Chevy, <strong>AND DUMPED THEM IN LAKE EIRE!</strong><br /><br />Fangio's first big victory was in a Chevy Master 85. UAW workers were flown to Japan, learned the Toyota way, production began in 1984, was an immediate success, and they built 8 million cars before shutting down in 2009. The things learned from Toyota were implemented in GM in 1992<br /><br />Dick Guldstrand was commisioned to make a high speed Corvette to test Bridgestones, he hit 176 at Talledega . It's in the auction cycle right now, and it didn't sell at 40 thou. </div>

<p><strong>Chevrolet Aveo New Aggressive Shown in Paris</strong> - General Motors ensure the appearance of the latest generation of the Chevrolet Aveo at the Paris Motor Show 2010. This will accompany a small hatchback MPV 7-passenger hatchback Orlando and the Cruze as a star exhibit at the State Wine.    <br />Most of the lines of similar design with the look of the new Aveo Aveo RS concept in attendance at the Detroit Motor Show in January. At the front, a pair of headlights with a round design with the center of attention because it can make a more aggressive figure. Chevy grille typical of a separate, also stood out in front. Hood is equipped with firm lines that make the car look muscular.    <br />Another distinctive feature, the position of the handle openings are placed at the back door, hidden in the C-pillar, like Spark. The shoulder line on the higher side of the car, make a new generation Aveo looks more sporty look.    <br />Dimensions are now longer and wider than previous generations. The result, also become more spacious cabin. Chevrolet claims, now the largest luggage space in between the rivals.    <br />In the interior, the material on offer, claimed to have high quality with an abundance of storage space. Modern dashboard and audio system offers Bluetooth connectivity and a USB port.    <br />Enhanced chassis balance to provide better stability and comfort. Aveo is also equipped with electronic power steering (EPS), electronic stability control (ESC) and brake with ABS as standard features.    <br />In Europe, this car will be offered with a choice of petrol and diesel 4-cylinder. Machine consists of a 1.2 liter petrol (70PS and 86PS), 1.4 liters (100ps) and 1.6-liter (115PS). For the first time, two 1.3-liter diesel engine option (and 95PS 75PS) is equipped with Start / Stop.    <br />Remarkably, the Aveo is offered with a 6-speed automatic transmission for the European market and is the first in its class. Transmission five or six-speed manual will be standard in accordance with engine options.    <br />Aveo will be sold first in Canada and the United States in 2011. (Compass)</p>
