"Until now no cases were reported in connection with damage to components in Indonesia. There are no reports of accidents or injuries have occurred," said Jonfis.
HPM, he said, does not charge the replacement power window components. HPM will send notices to the owners of cars that got this program through a letter sent by the dealer.
Consumers who identified his car, he added, it is advisable to confirm the official Honda shop and make bookings for component replacement. Component replacement process takes about 20 minutes.
"This program starts running from 23 September 2011 and will last for six months. We are doing this program at the instruction of Honda Motor as the principal who wants to ensure rigorous standards on all products," said Jonfis.
