"The number of cars imported in CBU, which is marketed in Indonesia is not large,only about 10-15 percent," said Joko.
However, when supplies from Thailand disrupted, he added, the TAM will losepotential sales of about 3,000 to 4500 units per month.
In September, TAM sales reached 30,041 units, up 60.1 percent over the same month last year.
Based on TAM data, in September, sales of sedans and pick-up Toyota importedfrom Thailand reached 3678, which consists of the Crown, Camry, Altis, Vios, Yarisand Hilux.
TAM is the leader in car sales in Indonesia with a market share of 36.5 percent oftotal national car sales which reached 77,864 units in September.
During January to September, sales of TAM has reached 239 761 units or 38.4 per cent control of the national car sales are approximately 658 thousand units.
